SMARTLOG Vlissingen 2 is a 94,732 m² L.F.A. logistics complex, including a mezzanine and office space. It is located at Duitslandweg 2 in Ritthem (Vlissingen) within the West European port of North Sea Port.

DHG offers companies in the logistics sector a unique opportunity. SMARTLOG Vlissingen 2 is one of the few large-scale logistics sites in the Netherlands where large-scale storage of lithium-ion batteries is possible.

The six distribution centers, with units ranging from approximately 14,000 to 17,500 m², are ideally suited for companies active in the storage and distribution of electric mobility solutions, consumer electronics, and other energy storage applications.

The compartments are equipped for the safe storage of lithium-containing energy storage devices, including home batteries, commercial battery systems, and EV batteries. The site is prepared for storage in accordance with PGS 37-2, the guideline for the safe storage of lithium-containing energy storage devices. This guideline outlines measures to manage risks associated with the storage, charging, and discharging of batteries.

The environmental permit for SMARTLOG Vlissingen 2 is based on this guideline. PGS 37-2 is expected to be legally enshrined in the Living Environment Activities Decree under the Environment Act in the course of 2027.
